Description

Nikon 7900 image. Yesterdays posting showed this same species of Dragonfly and both are females. I haven't seen a male yet. I was quite excited when I got yesterdays image because I had been trying to get a shot of this species for awhile. So imagine my amazement this past week, when this beauty flew all the way across the pond and landed on my leg. Now I have posted many photos which showed bugs on my fingers but almost everyone of them was the result of me getting close to the bug and then offering my finger as a perch. This one is one of the exceptions. She came to me and then let me move her from my leg to my finger. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

This has to be one of my all time favorite Lee photos. Great composition. I like the finger incorporated into the image. Excellent clarity. Beautiful and interesting.
