Cool photo and a very interesting study of light- you can see the reflection of light from her midriff and face illuminating the window pane. The contrast from window light and figure to complete blackness really makes the image pop!

Yes, good lighting, and the model is at ease with a good expression. The curtain cord, or whatever it is, adds a nice touch of complimentary color.

I like the way that the lighting plays across the subject. I've tried and can't get mine to come out this good. Makes you wonder though...nearly 500 views and only 4 comments...

remarkable! I have tried photos like this a million times and I always either under expose or totally burn the photos. again, lovely model and I see why you like that window, it has a lot of character
