That is a cool photo, Laurence. It's like a James Bond movie... The guy in the background is an international spy who is looking right at you. He's never been photographed before. And you were wondering why on a walk through the park the very next day, your compact flash card where all your latest photos were waiting to be uploaded to your hard drive got momentarily hot in your pocket; then it was hopelessly corrupted. Odd, you thought, when your computer at the house was the only thing of value that was taken in the burglary, even though it wasn't the newest technology. Other items taken included only a doggie bone, a 7-meter length of hemp rope, and a paper-clip sculpture on the coffee table ... :) How's that for overactive imagination? Seriously, though, it's great when opportunities arrive to get a photo of a noted politician. I have a great photo of my four children with the governor of New Mexico, and my 12-year-old daughter is right in his armpit. They're all smiles, and I love the photo. Like you, though, I did not vote for him. You get your shots where you can.

LOL at happy to take his pic but you didn't vote for him. This is excellent, Laurence. I think you did phenomenally well under the circumstances, and the color/ quality is wonderful. It almost looks somewhat surreal.-M :^)

Your new president - and YOU stayed there ! Isn`t that enough? This is a documentary snapshot, a V.I.P. photo - nobody is interesting in quality..... Very well done. Like your gallery.

Glad he won!!! Very glad!! Great shot too! So hard to get close to politicians like that.... Trust me though, much better that he won, the other woman was a socialist and had NO idea what she was getting into. Politics aside....GREAT shot -chachi
