The twists and turns in the story are great, I can understand while you're feeling a little stale, there has been a huge amount of work you've done to a high standard, take a breather and I promise I won't bug you for new pages too much :)

Excellent work. I too understand the feeling of losing your way. I am presently writing a SciFi novel, so far written about 85,000 words. It is my first attempt at writing and there are times that I wonder what I am doing. So far I have been working on the novel for 2 years. It is the encouragement of my wife that keeps me on track to improve and finish my writing. But Midnight Stories, take heart in the fact that many of us find your work brilliant and we make a point of checking to see if you have posted a new page as soon as we hit Renderosity. So as Gag says, if you need to, take a breather and smell the roses. We'll all still be waiting for the next great installment. I too won't bug you too much for another page :)

Great storyline, fantastic artwork! I've loved the series so far and look forward to seeing the rest of it when you feel it's time. I can certainly understand that sometimes it helps to step back from something in order to gain a new perspective and appreciation for your work.

Sometimes you can get burned out but your haven't lost touch in my opinion. Still even non digital comic artists need a break every now and then. So relax and do things at your pace.

Nice set of panels. Enjoy the break--that's one of the advantages of not getting paid!

Take any breather, change of direction or sabbatical you need, this story's gotta be finished, m'man. It is definitely an achievement to get this far in a long-form, realist comic, let alone at this exceptional quality - don't forget to remind yourself of that when you feel a bit o' burnout ;o) The transition in David from hesitant he-man to decisive demigod is superbly handled, your scripting is way up there with the art.
