Description

Comparison of adult male cardinal and juvenile male cardinal, taken today in my yard. Haven't been around much lately, but now that I finally got that external DVD burner, I have some room on my hard drive again. Thanks very much for stopping to have a look.

Excellent detail and composition, Maria. The adult is so pretty, while the juvenile is a scruffy lookin' dude. I guess it's the same all over LOL. Nice to see you back posting again. I've missed your work.

Lovely shots, so cute even though the youngster is looking a bit worse for wear lol. A beautiful bird your very lucky if you have these type of birds in your garden.

Lovely captures and comparisons! But they look sort of orangey/peachy looking in this image. Or is that they are lighter looking in your area? Then again it could be my screen. Needless to say a rather lovely image!

Beautiful work Maria! I really like the idea of juxtaposing the pair ... Makes for an even more interesting photograph. I find it fascinating from your capture, to notice such various differences between the two-- Very sharp, crisp and clear images. The perspectives you've chosen for your photograph work beautifully for the images, especially with such soft lighting on either. Lovely work, yet again!
