High tide :) I dont know why but all of these coastal shots make me think they need gulls ?!

The scale is hard to interpret. There is the possibility of surviving in the vegetation if berries or game abounds. My uncle spent some of WW-II on an atoll where his unit was going to build an airstrip when the LST they were on got beached and unable to free itself using it's LCVP's (of which he was a coxswain). He made it seem most inhospitable for decades and only recently told me the name of it.
