The sea frightened F'loona. The metal raft bobbed and spun as she tried to talk to the love of her life, Ahrini. She called Ahrini,'Cashew head' because of her long brown head, and Ahrini had always responded by calling her,'Little blue peanut', due to F'loona's blue skin. A rainbow hued hand came out of the green water and grabbed Ahrini's ankle and dragged her beneath the waves. F'loona screamed for her. She could see the woman just below the surface, looking at her. F'loona took a breath and jumped in. She flailed and grabbed the woman's arm. It wasn't Ahrini! It had just seemed like her! F'loona made a decision. It didn't make any difference who it was drowning--F'loona had to rescue them. F'loona grabbed the edge of the metal and pulled up.... F'loona sat up in her bed and looked over at Ahrini's sweat soaked face. F'loona must have dozed off. Ahrini's eyes fluttered open. F'loona said," Lights!" She spang from her foam matress and pulled a cold glass of water from the mini-fridge and knelt beside the sweating woman. The woman's eyes couldn't focus and she seemed distant. F'loona held up the cold water to the girl's lips as she drank deep. The voice from her lips didn't sound like Ahrini, as she spoke. "You pulled me back to the land of the living! Your love is vast and deep as the sea. You know...she DID love you but was never in love with you. But still you reached out ot me in the depth of your pain. F'loona blinked back tears and opened her mouth to ask a question, when ChiBoo came in with a large tray with food and drink on it. She exclaimed,"Girl, you had us all worried! You feeling better?" F'loona shot a look over her shoulder at Boo, and put a hand on the sweating woman's elbow and said,"I pulled you back?" The woman said in a hollow voice,"Listen quickly...haven't long til I submerge again. I'm their life-line...way back. Kella says to you that the borrowed favorite shirt is on her top closet shelf next to her black lacquer box. Tofet Delgado want's his mother to know he had left his father's medal in the blue urn." "How did you know who died?" Boo exclaimed in shock? The woman continued,"Toxic says to 518--something's wrong! She can't rekindle herself. Her key is gone. Someone took it. Tomorrow dawn is to late! Hurry...must find it...I have to help them......." The woman lapsed back into unconsciousness. F'loona put her head down on the woman's hot arm and asked quietly,"Boo? Where's 518 at?" "He just went to the head. He saw me coming back and had to go. I brought you some food. You NEED to eat. Keep your strength up. You can't help her, if you're too weak to help yourself." "Put it on the bed,Boo. I'll eat in a moment. She's still so HOT! Will the Trow-master try again to get her some medical care?" F'loona sounded like she was begging. Boo sighed,"We might not be not much more than animals to humans--but even dogs have vets! I'll talk to him again. I'm sure he will do something!" F'Loona stood up, with a look of pure steel strength in her face. She looked over at Boo, and said,"I'm GOING OUT! I'll be back with some kind of medical care! No PERSON will stop me!
