Description

A wee bit late for Fathers Day, this is from a E-6 slide taken by my father in 1979 (yes, I messed with it)... My dad never displayed his work unless it was a family gathering, and was always a "slide show" with a captive audience :) His landscape work was "Top of the Line", and I wish to this day we would have performed photo shoots together. Instead, when we went fishing, I searched for Frogs. On vacation with him and his camera, I searched for cigs :) Go figure.. This is for you Dad! Time for a new series :) I managed to locate both his Argus C-3 and his very cool Canon AE-1 .. (Thanks Mom!) While he used to shoot with Kodachrome primarily .. Tis Provia Fuji as my choice. (Great dynamic range) I used both of those cameras for my earliest work starting at age 16 .. "Akk":)k I guess I shall put my slide scanner back to work, and hope that I can capture as well as "Chuck". In these days of great digital, this will be a fun challenge. (Not to worry, my higher end dig guys will be with me, but primaries will be "Old School") Perhaps the coolest thing about this project will be my visits to areas I have not seen in years. (And I promise not to mess with all of my captures) All the best, Kurt

Yes there is.. Need to re-scan due to major HD failure. (But might be a hidden blessing) I'm not quite sure Dad would like this lol! :)
