Also know as Foxglove and used in many murder mysteries as the poison of choice. Happy first day of summer. It's of course a nice rainy one here in the Pacific Northwest. Our liquid sunshine. lol But with out rain there'd be no shots like this one:) Thanks for dropping by..Take care:0)bonita

Ah, what I would give for a nice cleansing rain, but, alas, we are destined to go without it at least until the end of October... :-( and we are considered the Pacific Northwest as well! Phooey! Nice shot of the Foxglove. It is one of those flowers that is not easy to get a good and interesing pov on. You have done a marvelous job.

Love the droplets on the flower! Lovely vibrant colors. Yes, it's used to regulate irregular heartbeats. Take too much and well the heart won't beat any more.
