Another winner! The single-axis symmetry is very effective. Your usual advanced sense of composition and chiaroscuro. Love the red patch on the tree foliage as a center-of-interest. Wonderful trees and terrain. Excellent atmosphere and clouds and good lighting to pull it all together. Very convincing models. People often add a distant bird or two in such scenes, but maybe yours is more tranquil (a more static composition) without any animal life. Bit bothered by the dynamic range. The whites of the clouds are pretty blocked up and there is no true black nor visible shadows. Just a few touches of pure black (in places where you don't care about shadow detail, NOT areas like the side of the building) could add a lot of "snap" - works just like spices in food. Not as deep as some of your others, due to no "framing" objects in foreground, but i think that's appropriate here. If you wanted to try framing, you might consider a view from a ship?

Ouch. Let me get my jaw off the floor. Wow, what a picture! How did you make those willow trees? Just fantastic. If I had to pick on a single thing it would be the tallest tree seems a bit weirdly shaped. Man, your water and skies are magnificent.

The architecture looks a little bit "elvish";) Maybe sb could try to use it to get into the LotR mood... Willows of Tassarinan...

I think this one is your crowning achievment, Dom. Everything in this is gorgeous. The reflections of the willow trees and the cottage really does it for me. How long does one of these take you?
