Description

Hello to you all! The subject here is a monkey carved from a coconut, I love the texture and form of this sculpture and I hope I've captured something of the mood it projects for you. Many thanks for taking the time to view and/or comment on my last upload. I hope you all have a good week end!

A pleasing abstract with very nice limited pallette. Knowing what it really is tends to destroy the mystery though. Excellent!

no matter whether the name of the object is disclosed, there's still a great feel of mystery in it due to the sparing palette and downfalling light.

Stunning photo! Superb concept, POV and lighting - I thought initially that it was the sculpture of a deity. Very cool! :)

Hey, I've got a coconut monkey too! In fact, its sitting on my desk in front of me right now. :-) Really nifty close up study of the surface.

Once again supper lighting and POV. When looking at it first and before reading what you had to say about it, I thought it was a Viking wood carving. Thank you for sharing. egmont
