Its a nice idea.... Something I ponder on sometimes. But... if we had the technology to create such spheres wouldn't it be more beneficial to have them in orbit around a planet or even in orbit as multi complexes orbiting a sun? Rather than all the expense of lowering them down through the atmosphere of other hostile env. planets.
