I'm a painter, turned illustrator, turned designer from Seattle that now makes a living as a senior creative director in middle of the desert in Phoenix, Arizona. Life is strange to say the least. A few years ago I returned to painting, through traded my Winsor brushes and Golden Acrylics for Poser, Vue, and Photoshop, and have since resumed doing commercial illustration for a select clientele. I mainly work in 3D, but almost everything I do is overpainted until my wrist hurts as I just can't roll with squeaky clean stuff - it's not in my nature.
Recently my work has appeared in Ballistic Publishing's EXPOSÉ, was added to Steve Wozniak's personal art collection, been featured at MacWorld San Francisco and can soon be seen on limited edition tee's at Barney's New York and Fred Segal Los Angeles.
I'm married with three cats and can't seem to have less than ten Mac's in the house at any given time... you never know, I may need that bondi blue iMac for something one day ;)

Just read this is your favorite - I know, it was at that moment, you forgot about the other ones - lol... art is like music, the favorites change... anyway, with you being artist of the month and reading this is your fave and you are thinking of a Feng II, I think It would be awesome if you finished off the artist of the month with a part two of this... Hope what I've said gives you the super encouraging juices to do it. This is tops man... I love looking at work like this, you break it up into over lays and it seems like you could pop it out in no time... My last picture, I realized if you do render over render over render (I've got a picture that was rendered 7 times) I realize you lose a lot of detai - hadn't noticed it before, but I hadn't rendered something over and over 7 time. cool picture, hope to see Feng II - drop me a site mail if you remember, it you do do it.

It DOES look BladeRunner-ish and I didn't even notice the ads that you had running at the top until someone else commented on it! With all the different objects I'm guessing that it took yo a while to do this render and you must have a very powerful computer! - to be able to provide a render with so many objects in it! I'm currently reading the "Artist Of The Month" article about you here on Renderosity!
