Rusty Tussock caterpillar of the Vapourer orgyia antiqua (Linnaeus) moth Found this in the garden - I'm not sure how because it is tiny! Thanks for looking!

All the Tussock moth caterpillers I have seen and photographed are similar to this one in composition but the colors vary. Thay are all quite pretty. I have never seen this variety. Nice capture and that is difficult to do because they are pretty fast for such little critters, lol. Thanks for sharing. Lee

Wow fantastic shot beautiful, never seen a caterpillar like this before. This sight is sure opening my eyes lol. Looks like he's all dressed up for a party lol.

Now that's what I call a hairstyle!! Wonderfully colourful little creature and the composition is excellent. I've seen very few caterpillars but have found them one of the hardest things to photograph because they can be extremely small and really fast at times!! Great shot Carl. xx
