Description

Well something complete different today ^^ I got the idea for this render after a looong telephone call with SaintFox this week. When I remember right we discussed the theme about exhebitions of antiques out of foreign cultures in european museums. Once I have seen the famous bust of Nefertiti in the Egyptian Museum in Berlin. I still remember the first feeling of disappointment because of the small size of this bust, but the lightening inside the museum was great and the dissapointment only stoped in for a while :). The bust is fabulous artwork and impressive in structure and detail, believe me. Even without a nose and one eye :] Used: not V4 but V3 this time , brightened with Meike's lights and the M2 cap from Anton's Egyptians which fits much better the hats of Nefertiti's era. Characterset is the indian facemorph of my character Tatu with the fantasy egyptian makeup-option

Your experience is what my Dad calls the "Little Mermaid phenomena" because we've all seen those famous statues and sculptures in books, magazines and tv and when we finally see them in reality their proportions are different (often smaller, sometimes far larger) than we expected. The Little Mermaid in Kopehagen is very small and a lots of tourists are a bit disapointed first - until they begin to "explore" the figure and it's delicate beauty. And I can still remember how it was to see "The Kiss" by the admired Auguste Rodin and my shock to find it far larger than live when I expected it to be... well... something like the Little Mermaid ;o)
