Good original concept. Dramatic shadow. I might have noted that the lighting is kind of dark for being able to see her warpaint, but maybe the point is that darkness IS her warpaint. Worth the click.

I brightened it up a bit. My gamma settings on my Xtrabrite laptop LCD screen my is naturally a bit brighter than standard brightnesses and it's hard to tell if my dark images are too dark unless someone mentions it. Thank you 3Dsmacker.

First off, great image, textures, lighting, expression. Second, I have to chime in on the brightness issue, and that is to say that the levels on this pic are quite good. We all know that the "Dark, mysterious, Noir-emotion is very popular in so many images posted here. (including mine) Several times today I have seen images that fall into the category that are just too dark to be seen, even though the render will reveal more details with a gamma tweak. So, this question has been on my mind as to whether artists are seeing acceptable levels on their screens and my monitor happens to be too dark or are they really choosing to be overly muted. Your characters face is dark to be sure but on my Apple Cinema Display the levels are quite dynamic, dipping and rising without clipping. A perfect balance, imo. Just wanted to let you know.
