Description

Another fun Irina adventure! More lighting woes here. The look I tried to get was the temple being lit by strong moonlight, which to me is a milky-slightly bluish light. I might have over did the exposure a bit but that was simply to bring out the detail of the ruins. I also used ultra high-contrast raytraced shadows, the most P7 could give me, another reason why parts are so dark. View full-size to get the full effect! :) Anyway, thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy this one. You all are the BEST! ~Samantha

Wow, amazing image! The architecture is stunning! Did you create the background, or is it a prop? Very impressive!

Geez! I think I played that level! LOL As far as moonlight is--there is little color in it. It's very bleached looked looking in comparison to indoor light, and red is almost black in color. I'm not sure how you'd do it in poser light sets, though. Very cool set-up and posing. Cool work!

Really excellent scene. The biggest problem with moonlight is that the light levels are quite low and we can't see colours very well (our eye's cones need a lot of light to work whereas the monochrome rods work tolerably well in low light). If you postwork the image by de-saturating the colour a bit and reducing the brightness a bit, you would get something nearer to very bright moonlight.

Very dramatic scene. Great details and pose. For a moonlight, try to make a blue one point light. Without shadows.

I can apreciate the affect you are trying to acheive. I think maybe it's a bit too much contrast. Cut back on the highlights and use a longer scale with more shades of grey. Excellent image btw!

The scene is very interesting, but perhaps there is too much details in the scenery compared with the characters, they get lost. Perhaps if the camera was closer to the girl it would be clearer she is the subject of the image.
