Description


U.S.S Ross was laid up at San Pedro bay near Tacloban airfield, the ship had hit two mines on the night of October 19th 1944, both engine rooms were destroyed and there were enormous holes in the hull. The Captain and crew were at general quarters for sixty days straight. Enemy aircraft constantly attacked the ships anchored there during the landings and Naval Battle of Leyte Gulf. Three G4M

Good shot and fire effect, but parts of the image are dark, and the mountains are unnatural-looking.
