Description

Nikon 7900 image. This species of Dragonfly (Blue Dasher), is one of my favorites. They are not skittish. They are the most numerous species at my pond. They are quite colorful. This is an imature male. You can't really tell from this angle but I saw this guy from the side and his tail was blue. The females have yellow markings on their tails. When he is mature the blue will be more pronounced and his eyes will turn a beautiful green. THanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

I'm amazed at these little guys and the cartoonish sifi look they have make's me want to shoot more of them just to see what they look like up close. Very nice macro great detail and color, awesome image!!!!!!!!

Now that is a kick ass macro just there! Love the clarity in this and the pov is just perfect. Think it could do with a slight touch of contrast though. Well done buddy!
