Description

These are just SOME of the awesome colour range of my "Hydrangea Yarden"... I make up my own composts, compost teas, & "Super Dirt" - so we always manage to get fantastic colours & growth! I think in large part to the fact that we do NOT plant much at all - IN the soil - but ON raised berms! Ga. red clay is enough to break your wrists off TRYING to stick a shovel into it! My dad put in the DIY sprinkler system here - not nearly DEEP enough & he long forgot WHERE he RAN it!! Sooo - Everytime we jumped on a shovel - You guessed itttt - We hit GEYSERS of WATER!!! Hence the birth of MANY "YARDEN" berms allll over the place! We're battling a TERRIBLY severe drought AGAIN here - so we're UP at 4:00a.m. to START watering all the "YARDENS" until 10:00 a.m. We can only water on Mondays - Wednesdays & Saturdays - MIDNIGHT {YEAHHH - RIGHT!!!} thru 10:00 a.m. Anyway - Hope you enjoy these visits to my "yardens" as much as I enjoy GROWING & snappin shots of them.
