The "Great Blight" is a large area corrupted by the Dark One in "The Wheel of Time" by Robert Jordan. It is filled with malevolent and diseased creatures and plants including carniverous trees.

The rose and green colorings are gorgeous! I can see how the title came to be, but the colors sort of soften that concept, lol. :)
