Description

The Green was a widely renown resteraunt for it's living carpet of grass, and flowers. It was before the dinner rush, and after the lunch rush, so the place was mostly empty, except for a few tourists, and who White-Lady was sent to interview. White-Lady saw the Sidhe Lady wave at her across the resteraunt. The Telepath sighed and strode over toward the grinning pair of Sidhe and Fae, trying to control the butterflies in her stomach. White-Lady cleared her throat, and started, "You are Lady Lelia and her companion, Quillip?" The high Sidhe woman chortled as the the little pink haired Fae shook her head and exclaimed,"NOPE! Try again?" White-Lady frowned and looked confused. She asked, "Alright then...WHO are you, then?" Lady Lelia smiled and said with amusement,"I am Sidhe. She is Fae. We are linked. Since this is an OFFICIAL inquiry, I must answer as Princess Gloria, and you MUST refer to Quillip as Puck! We will NOT answer your questions otherwise! Those are the rules. You may start now." ' Puck' said, "HEY! I thought all you Telepath creatures didn't have vocal cords? You look shapely, too! You a fake?" Her look was a huge grin and twinkling eyes. White-Lady smiled at her with genuine affection and exclaimed, "Oh my god, what a little cutie-pie, you are!" Both 'Gloria' and ' Puck' went serious and coldly opaque and stared at White-Lady with hotly probing eyes. She could feel their probes, and reflexively snapped up her shields. She slapped the table with both hands and leaned forward. White-Lady asked raggedly, "Both of you were picked up on level 42, TWO corridors away from where those bodies were discovered! WHY were you both there? What were you DOING there? What were you looking for?" Puck said, "I have NO real idea why we were there! I was following her, to keep her out of trouble." Princess Gloria looked out the huge windows, where the wan afternoon sunlight was being vieled by billowing clouds of dust and fine ash. She said, "I was there...because I SEE." White-Lady frowned, and asked,"What?" The Sidhe woman said slowly, "I have the SIGHT. When Glorianna, Queen of the Night, steps aside, then I'll be Queen. It's a responsibility to fix what's wrong. Twenty-two minutes after the power-failure I sensed a WRONGNESS that cried out to me. It made me ill. I must find it and fix it, IF I can. It's a danger to my race." White-Lady showed them a photo of Toxic and the others that died. "Did you ever meet any of the people before the accident?" Gloria tapped the photo of Toxic and said sadly, "She didn't wear this face. She gave with a pure heart and burned so bright with life's fire, she was a child of the Sun!" ' Puck' said, "You should come to the wake tonight. It should be a real blow-out!" "Thank-you for..", White-Lady broke off as ' Puck' stamped off in anger, and 'Gloria' frowned in anger. "Do NOT insult me with 'Thanks'. You're poisoned by being around ' pure' humans. NEVER thank one of the Sidhe or Fae. Appreciate us, but do not use empty homilies on us!" Gloria spoke as if to a child. White-Lady frowned. She said, "Forgive me. I forgot. I knew her as well. It's hard dealing." 'Gloria' smiled. She turned and simply walked away to join ' Puck'. White-Lady headed out onto to the main promenade, and headed for the tube-train. --TO BE CONTINUED!-- Media is the usual suspects

Am still enjoying the story, although I had a bit of catching up to do this morning. Regarding the image, I like it, but the only negative thing for me is the grass tiling, looks a little odd to me, I would have imagined something a bit more natural if this was the focal point of the restaurant.

Really good image. Very original concept and characters, really, really interesting. The expression in Puck is great. All the props are perfectly placed and are really nice, specially the ones on the left. Lighting is natural and fluid. Great image. Some minor notes: the right hand pose of Gloria seems rigid. The wall on the right seems to miss some bump or displacement (I thought you put it everywhere ;-)). The grass tilling does seem a bit strange, I guess it's those triangles because on the parts on shade it seems alright as the triangles arent visible anymore. And, finally, is it my eyes or Puck's feet are buried in the ground?
