taken a week or so ago in the back garden, these flies have such wonderful colours and i love the contrasting red eyes, hope you like him. Camera: minolta 5D Lens: sigma 105mm iso 400 1/500sec f7.1

Is that what they are called? I had no idea. I don't want to tell you what I always called them...Suffice it to say I named them for the 'substance' they always seem to be hanging around, lol. Anyway, superb capture. The detail is wonderful!
