Forget flammible exlplosive powders, frightening noises, & fire, have some well-grounded feathery fun & freak out family & friends forever. You can "hypnotize" a chicken by laying them on their side on the ground (hold gently w/knee) hold their head verticaly-chin/beak on the ground (try & keep their lips out of the dirt) and take a stick & draw a line in the dirt away from said poultrys pointy pecking part outward a couple of feet, then slowly let go & back away. It will lay there for awhile or untill you or something passes in front of its line of sight, p. (Or you "Wack" it...and cook it that night.) A loud clap or a gentle tap will end its nap. Then leap to is feet fluff its feathers and trot away looking a bit embarrased but well rested and feeling alot better about things-like it could fly oneday!
