I thought of this image, while waiting forever in the reception area at my doctors office. Sometimes you sit there it seems until you are about to become outdated, like the magazine your reading. Then the magic begins you get weighed in front of every one else, then you move into the next holding pattern in one of his exam rooms. He walks in gives you the five minute "ahuh" routine,pokes you where you already said it hurts, then ask does that hurt? Now your given a shot or a presciption and he says let me know if this works, now as you see you have moved from patient to test dummy. I ask you, should he already have a good idea it will work? Now out to the exit desk to pay and make your next appointment,now you find out that your insurance company has changed everything you thought they covered. As always it was just your routine visit.
