Description

An even weirder relationship between a city and a sun. This time textured up a bit, though there's no reason to texture the sun since it is a self-illum object and it should look flat. Thanks for watching, and again comments are appreciated.

I bet if you made it between 85 and 95% self illumination instead of 100% it would add that little extra dimension to the sun to show that its not flat. Ive never heard of a sun thats completly flat. Nice texture job on the rest though.

I'm sorry, but I still think the sun looks too flat. Bringing down the slf-illumination a tiny bit would help. You could also add a subtle texture. Maybe the cellular texture in yellow with small orange cracks. Even better, use the falloff texture so that the above texture appears around the edge. It, of course, is up to you, but I suggest you play around a bit. The big black line is also a bit strange. I really like the texture changes you have made. Very cool.
