Description
This took me 3 days to render as somethings up with my computer...it's not recognising one of my drives so this may be the last image from me for a while. If the puter plays nicely it won't be lol.
Sorry for not commenting on your latest work. I have had some major personal stuff to deal with and was overwhelmed with emails when I got back...
Anyway nothing special but am a big Dark Angel fan..if I can I'll do another when I've finished testing....this was only done to see if puter would behave lol

For those not familiar with Dark Angel ....it was a sci fi show on tv a few years ago. It starred Jessica Alba as Max. A genetically modified girl who escaped, along with her brothers and sisters, from a government facility (Manticore)where she was born and raised as a genetically modified soldier. The barcode reference is the one Max has on the back of her neck, which is her idendification. Here is the synopsis from the show....
An electromagnetic pulse detonated by terrorists in 2009 plunged the country into a bleak third world existence. But for one genetically enhanced young woman named Max, the lack of technolgy has helped her avoid detection by the military group determined to hunt her down.
Known as Manticore, the group bioengineered the births of hundreds of children in order to create the perfect soldier. Yet even as they hunt Max, she hunts for her fellow "siblings" who escaped with her from Manticore ten years earlier. Then, a chance encounter with underground cyber-journalist Logan Cale gives Max something she hasn't had in a long time - an ally.

Very cool! I guess only xygomatic could do a more realistic Jessica Alba, so that aside-- I think her right hand should be flat and sword-hand like or in a fist in an action leap like that. That's about the only thing I'd change. I love the b&w film noir feel to this render. Great job!

Yes, computers can be very human, can't they. ;-) I'm not familiar with Dark Angel (or would I be through your previous pictures?), but well, it's a picture in your familiar quality. I'm struck by two things: - the "sheetmetal works" sign - so this is where your heroins go for their armor? - the predominance of the bar code. I associate bar codes with pricing (yes, tunnel vision), and my home town is famous for its red light area... But allow me to quote a joke (of my own): A foal of a rare zebra species has been born, and the whole zoo is delighted. But after a couple of days, the foal stops drinking and appears to have lost its will to live. So its keeper asks: "What's the matter? We are so glad to have you here." The foal whines: "They have scanned me. My stripes. They read: free sample..." :-( [free sample: translated from Dutch "monster zonder waarde", worthless pun-on-monster]

Oh man, must be something going around. I just had to do a total system wipe down. Every here knows what a nightmare that is when you are forced to re-install tons and tons of content, what a pain. As for your image, well done. Certainly is dark, although I've never watched a show of the series, I know quite a few people who really liked it. Nice going, and hope your machine behave's itself. If Micheanglo keeps this up, I'll be using him less and less, let me stop lying, I know who calls the shots and its him and bill gates! LOL

Great image. B&W was a great choice. I agree with JOELGLAINE about her hand. I also think the barcode is a bit distracting because it's so big, but that's just my personal taste. I think she could benefit from some expression in her face. Anyway, very good.
