Description
My first Bryce 6.1 render.
Also the first time I've used Image Based Lighting. Lots to learn!! Need patience too ! IBL is very slow to render. This one took 40mins and its only a simple image!!!

That's excellent. Yep IBL takes forever....I always use it and the longest I had was 24 hours! LOL....shortest I think 90mins....but my pcs knackered lol.

IBL is really very time intensive.I need for a simple Pin up ages. But the result with IBL is way better than with normal lights. To play with lights is very fascinating. Lights can make a simple image to master piece and can kill a great scene. You did here a good first job.

Way shweeeeeeet dude the trick is mask some of the objects and do more than one render you can get some big scenes this way

Well done Steve, you are using methods many ( well me anyway ) have yet to try and getting some very nice results to! This render is artistic and yet the IBL also adds a believability to it too, excellent art!!!

Well done for your first B6.1/IBL image! Well composed still life too! 40 mins is quick for a HDRI I think! (my first took about 36 hours I think) Well done!
