Oh that is beautiful. I want to be there this very minute. Oh just wonder if I could wake up being there!!!!!! Thank so you much for sharing and taking me out of this world (don't get me wrong, it's a good one) into those that you traverse. It fun to go along with you Richard. Never stop. This is a wonderful, wonderful scene.

Are you on upper Turtle Creek or lower? I'm not familiar with this set of falls, but I haven't traversed the whole area. Is this shot down by the Bandera highway or more on upper Turtle Creek? Remember 2002. We had four FEET of rain in a little over two days. Turtle Creek was a mess then, too, but we were just trying to stay above the Medina, so I didn't see what transpired east/north-east until weeks later. What of the Medina and the lake? I hadn't seen anything on the news up where I live now. Great photo, BTW. :)

An amazing amount of water in so little time. Only a few months ago I was standing on the bank of the Guadalupe River and I bet today, I'd be standing in a different spot - maybe above the parking lot! This is a marvelous shot. Love the lacy water.
