Description

Nikon 7900 image. Another Dragonfly who decided to check me out as I checked him out. I never get over the thrill of these contacts. I don't think they really care one way or the other but I may be wrong, lol. This is a male Eastern Amberwing but he has a variation from the norm in his wing spotting. They usually don't have the dark spots in the middle. I don't really know how I manage to get so many of these little wonders to crawl onto my fingers (other than the fact that I offer every time one seems unconcerned) but it sure is a neat experience. It is also prety neat to be able to share a little of that excitement with others. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

I never thought I'd say this, but you make dragonflies look ... adorable. Yup, there I said it. This is no exception. The color is amazing to start with but the postwork has given it a hugable quality. (geez, I said it again!) :-)
