Description

I do not post many flowers for i see others much better that me post them. I saw this type of flower growing at Lake martin in the swampy area and I never saw anything like theses before. There is a bee on one of the flowers and I was hopeing to get a better shot of the bee but he flow away before I could shot him. Guess he camera shy. He the brown object and his eyes is faceing you. This will tell you how big these flowers are. oh if you know the real name of the flower please write it down so everyone knows thanks for looking and comments. I know it pass my bed time but lol I so busy. will caught up on the comments in the day time it 12.15 here in the morning

I don't know what they are but they are sure interesting and beautiful, The bees love them so they're not poisoness. I can't help but think the photo needs to be rotated so the stems face down?

With my limited knowledge of flowers, I have absolutely no idea what this fantastic bloom is, but the center kind of reminds me of a speckled sugar cookie of some sort. And, I really like the glistening array of pushpins encircling the flowers. Ultra cool macro, Jocko!

Drag is right I got it sideways but the stems will be comeing from the top of the image. They grow on a seven foot bush. I post all four of my shots of this flower tomorrow
