Description
The pale yellow tail monarch is the first butterfly I have seen this summer.
I spotted it last week and since then I have captured 3 or 4 other species and will post them later.
I was going to do a bug but the butterfly excited me so much, I had to post it.
I am doing so, so.
I can't tolerate this heat and humidity I get so sick when I go outside and literally get nauseated and have to go to the bathroom to visit the porcelian throne.
The heat is no fun and those little flash thunderstorms just bring on the humidity that much more.
Was supposed to have chemo last Friday, but hubby's brother had surgery and was not doing well at all so he drove to see him
Have just not been feeling well at all the past week or so and I know it's the heat, so If I fail to leave a comment every now and then, please forgive me and I will catch up as best as I can.
I hope this finds everyone doing okay and I hope all of you have a safe, healthy and happy 4th of July.

I added frame and border. Tried one step touch up.
Color and brightness adjusted along with hue and saturation.

I am okay other than the heat and the humidity.

gorgeous capture, dear! I can see why it excited you. I bet we are in for a real treat when you start to post your other bug shots! As for heat... we are supposed to get up to 104 degrees F on the 4th of July. You can count me out for BBQing! No way I'll cook over an open fire in that heat. :-)

Well I have no idea why the heat is bothering me also this year as I always have a tan and felt good about it now it seems to make me feel out of breath and weird at times but its been sooooooo dry here: Great catch and photo susan ! stay well stay cool:

hey thats a nice shot of the underside of the butterfly it's an angle not commonly seen,I see a lot of comments about the heat messing around with ya if you can always ware very lose clothing and head covering as well as your arms the less skin exsposure to the sun the better the Arabs at least know how to dress in the heat white cotton for summer time is best.
