Description

With its many artists setting up their easels each day for the tourists, the Place du Tertre in Paris is a reminder of the time when Montmartre was the mecca of modern art. Thank you very much for your comments on my previous upload :

Ces artistes sont trop dans l'ombre mon go, certains devraient re plus renommde part la qualitde leur travail. Tu te rappelle de celui que nous avions vu dans les rues de Seville avec les bombes de peintures? Et bien maintenant, l'association des "street art" en a fait un artiste reconnu par tous les Sillans, je lui ai fait un bon cd de montage et quelques personnes ont changd'avis sur le monde des gitans, et c'est pas plus mal. Excellentes photos !

Great shots. My dad was in France in the 40s and even in wartime he said every village, every town he visited, he found sidewalk artists at work. He bought a couple of watercolors that I still have. :-)

I love to see these street artists at work. Just saw one here in my town one time and I took a shot like you did. the modell began to laff at me and what I was doing. He was cool about it. These look like they good too. I be drawing stick figures if I did it lol

I can draw but have not for as long time, but never could I draw quickly as master caricatures do that set up at events and malls.I am in awe of talented people such as them.excellent captures and collage
