Yes, folks, once again this is a shot from the blossom-rich Walsterway Iris Gardens in Maltby, Washington. This is the last of the ultra-macro-closeup shots. There will be more iris photos coming! They just won't be of the staring-down-your-throat variety. I would tell you that I did no postwork on this, but actually, there was this one little spot on one of the petals . . . dirt or lint or some other weirdness . . . that I cloned out. I suppose I could have toned down the very high key top portion, or brought up the shadows in the lower right, but I liked the extreme contrast.
