Description

Photography + Photofiltre studio "Alma Sinti", Festival de jazz "Django Reinhardt" de Samois, on Saturday evening. This time a special concert for me, cause the pianist is my hubby! "Alma Sinti" (it means Gypsy soul)has been created 10 years ago by the great guitar player Patrick Saussois. This band plays a mix of jazz, traditionnal French songs and Gypsy music. This year "Alma Sinti" invited a very famous accordionist, Marc Berthoumieux and my hubby, Laurent Epstein on piano. Thanks a lot for your comments on my previous post:

Quelle belle photo pour illustrer la rnion des res humains dans la musique, au deldes diffences de caractes et de l'int individuel. Il y a beaucoup de chaleur dans le rendu la lumie et j'imagine l'ambiance chaleureuse flottant dans l'air ce moment l..Bravo Laurence, et bonne journ ! JLuc

Excellent "pano" tout l'honneur du groupe et de ton "hubby" : la diagonale gauche droite des tes et des regards rame vers ton pianiste favori, sans parler des teintes chaudes des instruments. J'avais me l'impression de voir les touches noires et blanches du piano sur le manche de la guitare !... Super ! Bonne journ Laurence

Laurence, you made my day. Now, THIS is what I'm talkin' about! You can't go wrong with a combo photo, and this is a splendid shot. Not only that, but those are some fine instruments. That left-handed jumbo jazz guitar is quite nice, and the other guitarist closer to the foreground has quite a nice instrument, too. The pianist looks familiar to me, for some reason. I'd swear I'd seen him somewhere before. Meanwhile, I'd love to know who the accordionist is, what brand of instrument it is, etc. Just to great a shot for words.
