Description

While in New Orleans, I decided to explore a local cemetery. This is the grave of a young boy who was severely abused until he finally died of his injuries. It is said his mischievous spirit occasionally plays tricks on visitors. I was taking night shots of various sites around the cemetery when I came upon this one. I tried 3 times but my camera would not work. After leaving this grave and taking photos elsewhere in the cemetery I returned and managed to capture this before the shutter again failed. Makes you wonder... By the way, after leaving the cemetery I find the camera works perfectly again.

Creepy gives credibility to the often thought belief in some cultures of capturing the soul!

Hmm. Think I would prefer taking cemetery shots in daylight. Just my personal little idiosyncrasy. I've heard stories like this .. where ghosts just won't be nice. Glad you got this shot, LOL and really glad your camera works properly again!

I love cemetary shot...I used to rub chalk etching off the tombstones when I was in high school did one of a girl I knew really well who killed herself and that just kept haunting me that I had her chalked off tombstone words in my closet...i got up and threw them all away...haven't done any since...I should of kept the older ones but it just got on my nerves badly at night when I got to bed...needless to say I have slept a whole better since then..wish ya could of gotten more cemetary pics...adding this one to my favs:)and yes I DEFINITELY BELIEVE IN GHOST saw one:) Hugs Susan from Ky~

Creepy image, but a fascinating story. I guess he was being mischievous with your cam. I'm surprised your photo's not full of orbs... Thx for sharing. I love this stuff....
