Description
With every passing day of political headlines, I realize how brilliant the men were who created this form of Democracy called the United States. I wish our leaders would be made to sit through a semester of 8th Grade U. S. History. Maybe then they could regain an understanding of how it is supposed to work. No matter how much they love to quote the Founders and liken themselves to those great statesmen, those in Congress and the White House have lost touch with what this country is based on.

If only fixin' what's broke could be done with a little Scotch tape. The damage done to our government in the last 60 years - and particularly the last six - is grave. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any credible trend towards righting the wrongs. It's a tougher job than ever with big money special interests ruling the day.... but I raise my glass to the ideal of the American experiment. I hold out hope that future leaders may be focused more on how to enhance those democratic ideals rather than skirt and corrupt them. Your image is an outstanding statement and very well executed.

Nice work and your words ring true, however they did not create a Democracy but rather a Republic. In fact the founders feared democracy comparing it to mob rule.

This is incredible Dave. Ol Franklin is truly excellent! I doubt the founding fathers could fix what's wrong with this country today. This image is a great statement on the problems we face. Our goverment is the prefect example of the Peter Principle. Especially Bush.. Not sure why... but how come smart folks become Engineers and Scientists, while idiots seek and gain political control. I'm afraid it's a lost cause. Hope those smarts ones can make a smart pill someday.. maybe things might change. Bravo on this Dave from the other Dave :^)
