Description
This was my first ever character in rendo store. I was so proud of her and she will always hold a special place for me. She is no longer in the store and this is my good bye to her.
It is 4.30am and I am still wide awake. I thought doing a simple pic would help change that but it hasn't. My son, Daniel, was taken to hospital tonight in an ambulance from a party. He drank too much and he is only 16 and someone everyone agrees is a "good kid". I am torn between anger and terror - why do kids think they are so damn invinsible
tonight I am not smiling
Chris

She's still a babe Chris. As for your son, I hope all's well with him. I'm surely not looking forward to facing that sort of situation with my two when they get to that age (only 7 & 4 right now). Hang tight, we're pulling for you both. Hopefully just going through this will be enough to teach him the lesson. hugs John

Lovely lady, Chris.:) Sorry to hear of your son but its something kids do, though rarely do they get alcohol poisoning to that degree... but they do at times. sigh. Why? Mainly cause our brains are not actually fully developed until our mid 20s and one of the last areas to develop is the decision making area. Of course THEY would never believe that. lol All will be well. :)

'Tis a sad day to see your first lady go. She was lovely. As for Daniel, hopefully this will really help ingrain on him the reasons you "preach" to him about excesses.

Chris I am so sorry, Kids can do stupid things in the spur of the moment but I bet it will teach him to go easy on the stuff in the future. I dread what mine will do when they are teenagers. Your lady is gorgeous love her dark skin :) Never done one yet. And remember boys as with Men take a whole lot longer to mature than us ladies :)

Wow you had one tough day!!! Lovely to see Shalea again - she still looks stunning! My most faved pic is one of her - and I think she must be the reason it still gets picked after all this time :)

When I was his age I too came close to having all my life gone for a foolish moment and for the life of me could not give you an answer to your question, even now. My prayers are with you now, mam.

your lady is still lovely...& although I have not (yet) gotten the hang of it, I certainly admire your work and smile with each email notification of a new one! I can so commisserate with your mixed emotions of terror and anger - my youngest (of 4) child, a son, just graduated high school - and I wondered if he - or I - would survive his multiple "moments" of poor decisions before he finally pulled it all together midway through his senior year...while his older brother was in Afghanistan. Jongbg1 nailed it about the mid-twenties, and my heart goes out to you and your teen-aged son...they do eventually gain better judgement, but it is still good that you have your art to turn to on those gut-wrenching, sleepless nights...hang in there!
