Description

This is Bailey. Her people were sitting on the edge of the ditch by the side of the road in my neighborhood one day, taking a break from using the weed-whacker. I was out walking, and stopped to say "hello." Okay - okay - I'll tell YOU the truth! I stopped to take a picture of Bailey! But I thought I should at least chat up her people a little bit first. Bailey thought I had a treat, or a ball, or something she might want. As soon as she discovered I was only using her as a model, she lost interest and ran off to investigate elsewhere.

Cool portrait, Bailey has a lot of character. Impressed by the DOF, kind of glad humans have smaller noses if you know what i mean ;)

Gorgeous Dog! I love the frontal view, makes her little nose all the more kissable :) She's got this dreamy look in her eyes, a fine capture! Her colours are so soft, and so natural....This photograph would confirm the wise old saying, by the looks of Bailey that a Dog is truly a man's best friend.... :) Beautifully captured doggy! The other half of Barnum & Bailey! Step right up folks, one thin dime will get you in to enjoy the show! Great POV of what appears to be a Golden Labrador, but kinda difficult to determine the breed without seeing the rest of the doggie. Nice capture of the detail and tawny color, but -- Mister Gadfly strikes again -- I would have lessened the contrast and equalized the lighting so as to bring the nose, mouth and chin, plus the right side of the photo, out of the shadows.
