Description

A monument to the living By Rodger M. Brodin The inscription reads: "Why do you forget us?" Presented by and for the Veterans of Minnesota. Dedicated May 22, 1982. Everyday, but most especially today, we must remember and thank ALL Veterans for their service and sacrifice. We make war that we may live in peace. --Aristotle-- Happy 4th of July! Thankyou for sharing this, I'm a Canadian, but the sentiment is the same,I am far to aware the sacrifice could easily have been mine, our freedom comes so easily it's shamefull that we forget the blood from which it is formed and the sum of the loss that gives it breath.
