Hey Everyone!
My name is Jared and I'm a 16 year old male. I love anything involved with 3D. The programs I like to use are Vue, 3Ds Max and Poser, but I've just started Poser and from what I've tried, I'm not that good. The picture above was taken on my Year 11 Dinner Dance. That's me on the left with Vasco (aka. !!CorVas!!) on the right.

A excellent effect - wow

Great mood, a very nice effect. There's a bit of sky peeping through the tree trunks, it might be a good idea to place a terrain on the background and raise it high enough to obscure those patches. A dark rocky material on the terrain would be the finishing touch. The red color of the volumetric light is an excellent choice. You might want to soften the light (5 or 10 degrees should do it) to prevent the sharp transition between reddish volumetrics and shadow. Setting the shadow strength to less than the default 100% might also help. Despite all the nitpicking: good job!

It's maybe a tad dark. Nice job though. It's got a great mood in it though. I found Bryce easier to work with than Vue, but that's just me.
