Description

Simple construct of: 2 cylinders (positive/negative) 2 spheres 1 terrain (to make center thingiemejiggie) The sphere reflects the matted grass surrounding the house that has been singled out to be "crop signed". Enjoy!

Very cool indeed! I like this a lot! Great design and composition - the low POV adds to the sense of mystery in this, and I like how you use the sphere to include otherwise unseen elements of the scene! Great render too!

Superbe. Very dramatic. The sky is perfect for the feel of the piece. Excellent realism, too.

Your grass came out good. (Great to see some green stuff at last). Love how you used your sculpture too.

I like it. What is the meaning of Crop Signs? It is like crop circles?

Very cool, I love how clear everything came out. Are you using Bryce6?

Yes, all my work is 100% Bryce (6.0) unless otherwise indicated. Everyone does things different, but I see many posts in Bryce that are modeled in other programs, or textured in other programs, and then brought into Bryce to render only. That can be very mis-leading to the beginner at Bryce, leaving them forever wondering just how in the heck could they do that in Bryce! Bryce is NOT a modeling program, but with patience you can achieve some pretty cool results. IN my post "Chopsticks 2", this was all modeled and textured in Bryce. It took forever! In Cinema 4d, it would have been perhaps 10 mins worth of work, just setting up 3 arrays. Seems everyone is better at Bryce than me for its intended purpose (landscapes). I just carve out a different niche for myself based on my own preferences. Modeling with Bryce is major pain in butt...but I like the challenge!
