Description

while wandering the free section here, i came across a birdbath...i knew i had the rest of this stuff, so i wondered about a scene...then it all came together...i was going to use an outdoor scene, like a back yard, but i don't have anything like that...so this is what i came up with... products used... Mil Cat, DAZ Studios Scarlette Finch Song Bird, DAZ Studios Gold Finch Song Bird, DAZ Studios Trinity Atrium, DAZ Studios Bird Bath, freebie (can't remember from where)

DLG Very cute! Only one thing... the shadows are going in different directions. Maybe try to get the light behind the cat and birdbath, then add the rest of your lighting. This will make the shadows appear in front of them instead of behind them.

DLG :) Very cute prop :) The scene is a bit empty though, if you move the prop closer to the wall and zoom in on the birds and cat you won't have to add any other props. Also agree with Niha on the shadows..

DLG Heh... my cat wouldn't know what to do with a bird... he thinks that all food comes in small cans... he stalks saucers of them very successfully. Very nice concept and render.

DLG Nice image. I agree about the shadows but on the whole it's very well done.

I disagree with the shadow remarks, if you look at the ballistrade on the right, you can see that the architecture and the birdbath WERE lit from the same source. The shadow under the staircase must be due to a larger overhang out of view. The lighting is superb, well done.

DLG, I am drooling over your find with this birdbath!! lol If you happen to come across it again can you please let me know. This scene was so well done the only thing that didn't come across with the realism in this scene was the cat texture. Your lighting and depth of this image looks incredible....Shannon ;}

DLG... Hmmm, while its very well done, its soooo White, Bare, Clean, Simple. I honestly feel, that if you cannot fill a scene, then you should zoom in on the subject. The center attraction to me, is the bird bath. All the rest is wasted space. Too barren for my taste. Zooming in on the birds, cat, and the bird bath would have made this so much more appealing. No comment on the shadows, because that's one I'm still learning myself, LOL, I think the shadows are okay, just too bare.

DLG;0]) needs water in the bird bath, but I like this image. Ivy climbing the walls would be a nice touch. beautiful work
