To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

GASP! Okay, okay...I've just GOT to say this..There is a certain deceptiveness here...which is precisely why the veiled face, of course. She isn't fragile at all. Look, just LOOK at those eyes! Sheer power behind them! And her hands..which are a bit more aged than the softness of her face. Know exactly what/who she is? She is crone in a maiden's face.
