Not just past a image thougth a filter and post it.But take the image a add to it// cut// bend the colors and make real art.Use layes and lays of images. each showing what is under it. blowing your mind as you make it hopeing others will look at it and say that far out man BIOborn on Sept 23, 1951 in lake charles,la. just haveing fun dont like doing the same things over and over. It like eating you eat diff things all the time.

shot this with my film camera with a 200mm zoom and had a 800 film in it. The camera is a 35mm scan the film at 360 or 400 maybe 600? trying out diff stuff to see what is good

you are improving on flowers Jock. these are beautiful. scanning the picture decreases the resolution. I think your digital would work better for flowers
jocko500
I scan the film not the photo. I find a world of diff between the two.

That's okay, Jocko, you're not alone...I barely know anything about flowers and plants myself. Interesting POV of the flowers, whatever they are. As for knees, I have arthritis in both of mine and have a hell of a time kneeling down to take photos. Hard to take eye level shots of cats and dogs.

I cand stand up and shoot these for they was about five feet off the ground and water. plus I had to use the 200 mm zoon to get up close to them.

Sweet flowers that brighten the wetland. So very nice. You do a good job with flowers and I know there are so many in your area to see. Many different kinds. I'm glad Diane encouraged you to take more flower shots. You show a natural talent for it. BTW, I used to live off a shell road the the dust was horrid. Everything was covered with shell dust.

All the AI of genus and phyllum is being declared bunkum and DNA is presenting the true categories of the genome. Classification based on appearance is fading. You can make the first steps in showing us not just a picture of a flower but it's DNA map. Then Latin will be dismissed.

They look like hibiscus flowers Jock! I'm surprised they grow out in the swamp like that. I bought a couple small ones in different colors for here at home. They grow in many colors! These are gorgeous! Excellent shot! (:
