Description

I went to the St. Louis Botanical Gardens yesterday, a very interesting and peaceful place. It consists of several gardens in various themes (Japanese, English, etc.) and was a welcome break from the usual tourist traps most places have become. This particular building was made apparently to house the statue inside, but it was so small it gave me the feeling it was for the statue to have a perfect view rather than for people to go inside and admire it. I took 410 pictures (!) but doubt I'll be posting a huge series, there really are only so many still life pictures one can post of flowers. As usual I realized later it would have been a perfect time for some infrared shots, but that will be another day. ;)
