Description

A follow on from yesterdays image, these are defence blocks placed during the Second world war. You can see the marks left behind from the frame which the concrete was poured into and the variety of local pebbles added to the mix.

Excellent composition. The rough strength of the sides contrasts well with the weather-worn smoothness on top. I also like the opposition of the war-time structure and the peaceful sky. Very well done!
