Description

DennisReed say to put him on the flower list so I did. I put this one for him for they are blue-purple a manly color I guess.hahhah No I did not crop the image I had my film camera and a 200 mm lens on it. I set the camera and focus the len the I lay the camera and tripod down and took the shot blind. I know it not wise to do this with film but my kness was hurting and I was fear that a gator could come out the water and get me. I thought I might have a change if I was standing up to get out of the gator range. I most likely be his lunch anyway. I did not hear any gators around this area. did hear some at another area that day. CarolSassy did sent me a like to a lot of swamp flowers and the names too. I looked at them and saw nothing of my flowers so I do not know the names. DennisReed is a very good artist so please look up his gallery and see his art. You will not be disappointed. It top notch work.

Oh I did see one similar to yours Jock, the Rose Mallow(Hibiscus Militaris), on page 5 of the flowers. It is only a different color. I never found that other pretty one. Hmmm, it just takes too long with modem connection to look at all of them in the larger size. lol q-: I love these! They also beautiful! Thanks Jock! (:
