Description

Created from c++ code I wrote in a pseudo-3D asteroids shoot-em-up for Windows Mobile devices. I altered the routine to produce a larger result than necessary for the game. Everything's basically fBm except the stars which are produced using the same algorithm as in mmf3.ucl-Stars, in fact just about everything could be reproduced solely in Ultrafractal.

The stars & sky are quite wonderful--but the planets look somewhat like gumballs or marbles to me--

Oh yeah! So it is..and what a view...puts us earthlings smack into the proper perspective. I think I've signed that Hubble petition a bazillion times now..would be a pitiful and shameful thing to lose it :)

I like gumballs...they look 3D-cool.
