I am BACK!
After a few years on hiatus from the Poser-verse, I am BACK! Currently enjoying Poser Pro 11 and testing out what it can do compared to its predecessors.
Sorry, my computer refuses to run DS 4.x so although I have nothing against that program as such, it's just not an option to me. Not that I mind much, I know Poser and why start at square one with a new program?
But that makes me a Poser User™ - so whatever I make is for Poser. I think most of the props will work in DS, but I have no way of testing it. Downloader Beware ;)
Other than that, I am some 50+ years old (not giving the exact amount isn't because of vanity but it saves me from remembering to update this every time another year has passed)
Mother of two, now adult kids.
Married to a very patient man
Obsessed with Alan Rickman
Even more obsessed with Severus Snape
NEW: Now also obsessed with Tim Roth - and his alter ego Cal Lightman from the TV series Lie To Me
Whovian
Occasionally a Star Trek geek (on the low burner at the moment)
japanophile
Plays Pokemon Go every day! HAH!
Working as a train conductor.
Probably a pervert, depending on who you ask
Never TOO serious ;o)

Love it! This could be a scene from any of the books, it's so in-canon. Your new Snape is delicious -- that nose is perfect and I am so envious of you having a live reference to model from. ;-)

Can't wait to see Snape next week and then read to see how he (and everything) turns out the week after. Can't it be those days already?

Nothing wrong with Snape, cannot wait until I see the new movie this week and there I said it, lol.

Great Scene! DO keep up the good work. DPH I've often wondered if Dumbledoor isn't stykled after the MaHaRal, i.e. Judah Loew ben Bezalel ("Judah Loew son of Bezalel", also written as Yehudah ben Bezalel Levai [or Loew], 1525 17 September 1609, the great 16th century Rabbi and Kabbalist, to whom ledgend assigns the creation of the Golem. Certainly in the first movie, he has been (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judah_Loew_ben_Bezalel). But if that is so, would that make Snape a variation of Shylock? DPH

Interesting theory, David. I read the article and you might be onto something there. Perhaps not totally literary, but JKR is well-know for taking bits and pieces from all sorts of myths and folklore, and occasionally historical persons and mix it all to fit her story. So why not? I doubt we'll see a real golem in the last book - but something approximated perhaps? Not sure Snape is Shylock, though it would explain a certain feature of his L

You could illustrate Harry Potter for Rowling, you have so many, each one a standalone. It's amazing. I feel like a I am watching a movie with him as the star. :) I love that bookshelf; love books. Very nice! :)
